Our Purpose

Challenge

At the Chapel Hill Retreat Center, we know that you want to feel fresh and focused on the things that matter most to you.  The problem is that there are too many demands on your time and too much weight on your shoulders, leaving you feeling overloaded and underwhelmed.

Belief

We believe that there is not enough time or energy to meet the increasing demands, but there is an antidote offered in nature. Instead of speeding up, in nature we are invited to slow down, be who we are, feel soothed and healed, and have our senses put in order (Ehrlich, 1986; Burroughs).

Solution

We understand the pressure of juggling family, career, health, and community commitments. We are high achieving executives with university credentials in adult education and therapeutic horticulture, and we have developed a four-acre woodland forest into an elegant retreat center and offer evidence-based personal development programming to help you turn down the noise and live a more meaningful life.

Invitation

We invite you to stop feeling stressed and start experiencing wonder in the woods as you rediscover your purpose on paths of peace.  You got this and we are ready and excited to support your personal development journey!

Our purpose is to connect people with plants and deliver transcendent experiences in nature.

Get Started

"You are a human being, not a human doing."

Dalai Lama
