Generalized Geology of the Chapel Hill Retreat Center

The figure above, "Generalized Geology of the Chapel Hill Retreat Center," (N. Rashid, 2025) depicts the broad geological characteristics of the area where the retreat center is based. Rashid, a geological expert, assembled this summary after a "geology walk" of the property in May 2025. A geology walk  is a great way to explore the landscape, learn about the rocks and their geological context, and connect with the natural world while understanding how rocks, minerals, and geological processes shaped the area.

"Even the rocks will cry out."

Luke 19:40
